You will be responsible for the complete management of SQL databases, from initial design to daily maintenance, ensuring that the company's data is secure, accessible and efficient.

Missions

  • Excellent proficiency in SQL and relational database management systems, including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

  • Strong database administration skills including performance management, backup and recovery, and security.

  • Database development skills for schema design, complex query creation, etc.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose database performance issues.

  • Good communication skills to interact with team members and end users.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Knowledge of database monitoring and management tools.

  • User Support: Provide technical support to end users to resolve database issues and help them use the systems effectively.

  • Technology Watch: Monitor trends and technological advancements in the database field to recommend improvements and updates.

Storage Engineer

We are looking for a Storage Engineer (F/H) for a Swiss organisation in Geneva.

As a Storage Specialist, you will be responsible for the management and maintenance of HP storage systems. You will work closely with IT teams to ensure the performance, security and availability of storage solutions.

Missions

  • Manage HP storage infrastructure, in particular the HP 3Par, HP Primera and HP StoreOnce ranges

  • Ensure connectivity, zoning and maintenance of storage systems.

  • Monitor, update and optimise storage system performance.

  • Resolve storage-related incidents and problems in collaboration with the support teams

  • Participate in the planning and implementation of storage projects

  • Suggest improvements and innovative solutions to optimise the storage infrastructure

  • Write and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Required skills

  • In-depth knowledge of HP storage solutions, in particular HP 3Par, HP Primera and HP StoreOnce

  • Solid experience in connectivity, zoning and maintenance of storage systems

  • Knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, FC, etc.) and virtualisation technologies

  • Problem solving and incident management skills

  • Good understanding of networks and data security

  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills

  • Ability to work in a team and manage several projects simultaneously

  • Degree in computer science, engineering or related field

  • At least 5 years' significant professional experience as a storage specialist or engineer.

  • HP certification (e.g. HPE ASE - Storage Solutions Architect) is a plus.

OpenRewrite Consultant

We are looking for an OpenRewrite Consultant (F/H) for one of our clients in the banking sector.

Missions

  • The consultant will write recipes around OpenRewrite in order to improve the developer's productivity on the following themes:

  • JBoss EAP6 migration to Quarkus and/or Springboot.

  • Migration of the Maven (ie POM) and local (ie Quarkus :dev) configuration to enable the transition from LOSSPI (authentication system) to JWT.

  • Automatic adaptation of source code for minor changes in our application libraries (ie Transition from Springboot 3.2 to 3.3).

  • Detection of the (at)risk pattern for native compilation (ie Quarkus).

Required skills

  • Java 17+, Springboot, Quarkus

  • Git, Jenkins

  • University degree or postgraduate diploma in IT.

  • Minimum 3 years' experience.

  • Experience with the OpenRewrite framework required.

  • Experience in JEE back-end development or similar framework.
